Development of potential - Increasing Consciousness
Happiness
You want to be happy? - deep, from the inside out? - not just content, not just having fun? Bliss? It's possible...
The path
In order to be able to follow a path, not every detail of this path must be known, it is sufficient to have an overview of the current section to be able to act appropriately, to be able to make arrangements for the future.
Thirst for knowledge
However, man has a general urge for knowledge, he feels safer through knowledge. At times he can even control the events, and control others.
The urge to research
Man is driven by an innate urge to explore. He would like to know the universe in its basic features wants to know what holds the world together at its core (Goethe, Faust)
Meaning of life
Man wants to know where he comes from and where he is going, he wants to know who he is, what his meaning and purpose is. He wants to understand his place in all the events.
Potential
Man wants to realize himself, to develop his potential; the diversity of the material world is most suited for that.
Consciousness
Man wants to recognize, understand, grasp. He wants to see through more and more, i.e. become more conscious. He feels as a separate individual from others.
Consciousness and perception
1. recognition - naming (everyday life, physics)
2. understanding - remembering - the knowledge of other lives
3. grasping - shapes the behaviour, the being
3a. external comprehension with the five senses
3b. inner understanding with the subtle senses - intuition
Do-gooders
Many people believe that the conditions on this planet must be improved; this idea usually fades in the course of life - only a few are born to be successful revolutionaries
Transit Planet
Man uses the earth to develop and then moves on. It is then available to others who wish to make the same experience. The earth as a planet changes only very slowly. Only now...
Nomads
That's why it's best to live like a nomad, not staying anywhere too long, not to become too entangled in the material world, not to enter into unnecessary commitments, not to assume rigid patterns, to be flexible, to be constantly open for new things, to seek security in change.
Wishes and Desires
up to greed are the motors that pull people into the material world. The material world supports self-realization, Potential-Development. But matter in itself is not an end, it is only a means to an end. Matter is illusion – there is only energy.
Greater longing
In the course of many lives the energies (emotions) mentioned above change into "higher striving, desire, longing". These lead us on the spiritual path of expanding consciousness.
Simplification
As we progress on the path, one day the striving falls away - otherwise it would become a barrier to further development. The person becomes more attentive and mindful of the necessities of his own daily life and the environment.
Giving up
However, it is practically impossible for man to give up something that he has striven for many lives and that still means something to him, but this can fade into the background "on its own''. The human being grows beyond that.
''Sin''
Qualities cannot simply be changed or given away - already the corresponding moral sermons of the religious leaders - no longer to sin - were not realizable; they only led to a guilty conscience.
Exercise of power
In this way, man became an easily manipulated robot. Exercise of power pure is found behind the facade of all religions. The state makes use of these and is adding to them with its partly nonsensical and superfluous laws.
Independence
Never let anyone tell you that you are bad, a sinner, weak, unworthy, damned and rejected or you would need Jesus or Moses or Mohammed … You don't need anybody but yourself, you don't need faith at all - solid knowledge will set you free.
Religious slaves
No one has the right to threaten you with hellfire if you live by your own view. Never allow anyone to intimidate you, threaten you, put you down, degrade you to a second-class citizen, make you a slave.
Without a shadow?
If a person succeeds once in discarding bad or even good qualities, new qualities take their place. Is a being without qualities even possible? Certainly not in the material world.
Stress
What can disappear is that human actions are fully automated, that humans are not aware of their impact on the environment, that he is therefore constantly reaping stress and unhappiness.
Witness
This greatest human challenge is solved by becoming a witness of deeds, feelings and thoughts. By observing himself in everything he does and what happens to him, man changes almost imperceptibly.
Just observe
The important thing is not to intervene and evaluate. Much must be recognized, understood, grasped. Therefore an evaluation in good and bad is hindering. A rose is a rose is a rose and not a daisy.
Select
Furthermore, it is necessary for the person to find out what is on the agenda in the respective life. He cannot understand everything at once. He must learn to distinguish and select.
Discriminabilty
He/she must learn to distinguish between what helps and what does not help at the given time. He/ she should know who or what is good and what is bad for him/her personally.
It's all relative
But it does matter... Some things lead on and others stop. This applies to the individual as well as to families, circles of friends, nations, races, etc.
Mindfulness
Depending on his consciousness, man can control to different degrees what he lets in. It is significant who he meets, what she works with, where he lives, what she participates in, what he eats, etc.
Arbitrariness
Man gets tangled up in arbitrariness … Those who do not set limits destroy their physical and mental immune system... A lot of things don't fit together, they're just eccentric.
Grace
There is no grace on the path of life - everyone receives what he or she deserves or needs at the moment. Whatever a man sows, that he will reap.
Nomad
For a successful, happy life it is inappropriate to live as a squatter, to settle down like a fat toad and hold on. This creates binding. Be a trapper, a nomad, always willing to leave everything behind.
Repetitions
Recognize, understand, grasp: yes, but not down to the last detail and not everything that exists. Nor does it make sense to repeat one and the same thing endlessly. "Just once again, it was so nice..."
Slow
So-called regressions of other lives show that the danger of unnecessary repetition is huge. This is why the development of potential and the expansion of consciousness take such a frustratingly long time. Always make new ''mistakes. Osho: "Plan for a Miracle".
Grounding
Grasping is rather to be understood as grounding. It's about touching most things along the way. When another detail of your potential comes to light, it is time to move on.
Accuracy
Long-winded physical (external) grasping, exploring or wanting to understanding can lead to attachment to the respective labyrinth. Exaggerated accuracy stops and annoys the people around you. There may be exceptions for scientists... they should, however, first check their basics, they must not exclude consciousness, which is the base of everything
Knowledge of human nature
Man can recognize and understand himself. However, a full understanding is only possible when he is no longer a human being
Meaning of life
Unfold your potential. Expand your consciousness. Both are tedious and go very slowly. It goes on and on! Do what gives you joy. Life can be celebrated.
Labyrinths
All fields of knowledge that mankind wants to recognize, understand and grasp on this planet are labyrinths. However, these are not places of residence. It's about a quick exploration and then leaving.
Output
In order to leave a labyrinth, the human being does not have to recognize all details of the labyrinth, to understand and to grasp. It is about leaving the labyrinth quickly after an illusion-free exploration.
Change trains
Stations are for changing trains ans not to lose yourself in the lure of the city that goes with it. That doesn't exclude the possibility that after a long desert journey you may rest and celebrate in an oasis.
Minotaur
If a human does not leave a labyrinth in time, he falls victim to the Minotaur. In other words, he becomes so much the slave of his mind (that's the Minotaur) that there is a danger of ending up in a psychiatric ward.
Ariadne
Help is provided by Ariadne's thread, which frees the seeker from the labyrinth. This thread is called pressure. This pressure, which accelerates the path so much that man can make it, arises from the circumstances of life, into which he lets himself be driven by his thinking, feeling, acting.
Mind
The desire: "I want to know what holds the world together at its core" leads into a labyrinth. It is a question of the mind (= thinking, feeling, wanting). The mind knows only labyrinths.
Captured
in feelings, desires, thoughts. They cannot be turned off. The mind is itself the chief of all labyrinths, the Minotaur. It keeps people in the labyrinths and at the same time pushes them forward.
Decision
Air and water element are not very good in decision making. The earth element fluctuates the least, but decides rather rigidly according to principles. Those who want to make decisions should strengthen the fire element, e.g. take a risk, eat chilies ...
Decide for yourself
before others decide for you. Don't ask others to make decisions you can't make for yourself. Head and heart should work together when making decisions. Is the timing right?
Partial truths
The mind together with practical understanding gives answers. However, these are always limited, only partial truths. In the best case this is the respective state of the art. This is also very flawed.
Limited reality
But, that's all man has these days... There's no sense in despising this. It is the limited reality of man
After all, man owes this knowledge to a significant degree to his intuition. This leads him already a very short moment beyond the mind into the world of pure consciousness. That will be discussed later.
Logos versus mythos
The logical knowledge of the natural sciences and humanities is superior to the mythological, fairy-tale foundations of the Abrahamic religions. "Why would you believe when you can know" Osho quote
Pure Consciousness
The reality of the "world of pure consciousness" knows no labyrinths. This world is usually hidden for humans by the mind or ego as if in a fog.
Observer
Only when the emotionally charged, fear-ridden mind is silent, does the pure consciousness, the true self, appear. Here is the observer of all thoughts, feelings and actions - Intuition, pure awareness
Tools
Man has for his expression in the world: a mind (mental body), a feeling (emotional) body, a vital body, a model body and a physical body
Equipment
These five are man's tools for understanding on the earth journey. But they are not an end in themselves. The observer is the boss over wanting feeling thinking.
Understanding
They should help him to remember that he is essentially pure consciousness. They usually cloud his vision, but ultimately, by understanding he is remembering what he already knew before he/she came into incarnation.
Observer
The thoughts, feelings and actions necessary for grasping come and go, but man is not them. He is and remains the observer, who only watches but does not evaluate. For the mind almost an impossibility, because the mind automatically judges, condemns based on past experience.
Conditioning
Furthermore, man was taught what is good and bad, what he has to do and what he has to leave alone, and what the whole thing is supposed to be. He has inhaled it since childhood, learned it, internalized it. This is conditioning by parents, teachers, clergy, bosses.
Grown into it
Most people belong to a certain religion because they were conditioned as children. They often don't even question them seriously. As adults they would rather not choose this religion if they had a completely free choice.
Survival
Without conditioning a human being would not be survivable. It enables the survival. A PC with a blank screen without installed software or a TV without any broadcasts to be received would not work ...
What remains?
Man should know that the contents of conditioning are only trained. Man is not that - he is the observer. Identify yourself with what remains. The hand comes and goes, the spaces between the fingers remain.
Try out a lot
Conditionings are (partly) useful crutches for the journey through life. In the course of many lives, man must learn to live in diverse cultures with many different kinds of conditioning to recognize, understand and grasp.
Incarnations
Eventually the human being learns not to identify with these conditionings. Otherwise he gets lost in the many labyrinths and in a never-ending number of incarnations.
Unviable
In esoteric literature it is written, that these conditionings must be deleted and that then the true self shines. If this were to happen suddenly, the people concerned would no longer be able to live on their own.
Resolve identification
For the time being, it is sufficient to resolve with infinite patience the identification with the conditionings, the ego, the lower self. the personality (these are synonymous terms, they mean the same thing).
Role play
It's hard enough to see your whole life as rol-play … Who, pray tell, does not take himself too seriously, at least at times? Who does not suffer to the point of complete despair from disappointments, from unrealized expectations such as dreams?
Why?
In the world of pure consciousness no one asks why anything happens or has happened or will happen. The question why asks only the mind that imagines to find a reason because he wants to put an end to unpleasant things and prolong pleasant ones.
False replies
The mind always finds only pseudo answers to the why-question in those areas for which it is not responsible that keep confusing him and make him unhappy.
Mechanics is transparent
It makes sense to ask "why" when it is about areas that function as logically as classical mechanics. This also applies to other natural sciences and practical challenges of daily life.
Don't ask why
But as soon as man is involved in the why-question, the mind fails miserably. The mind cannot necessarily explain human behaviour correctly. Too many imponderable unknowns are involved. See video on bottom of page.
Just doing it
It is said that a person who can switch his mind on and off as he pleases simply acts. He simply does what is necessary without thinking before, during or after what would be appropriate.
Property burdens
Such people are not attached to anything and anybody. They know that they use everything, but they don't own anything. It would only burden. That is why they are always open and flexible.
Expanded awareness
The mind, which is conditionally helpful for normal people, is silent, no longer stands in the way. The person who acts as pure consciousness simply does the right thing in every situation - so it is said ...
They say...
A person who lives pure consciousness will be given the most suitable thing from the total pool of all knowledge in the spiritual realm at every moment. He would be "potentially omniscient" but always knows only what is needed
Thinking is slow
The mind weighs, considers, broods a long time to finally arrive at a reasonably assured result; this can lead to actions that are regretted afterwards unless intuition was involved.
The necessary knowledge
There are people who have the desire to be omniscient in order to be able to always act correctly. But this is impossible due to the lack of capacity of the human brain. It is quite sufficient to know what is necessary at any moment.
This knowledge can be retrieved from the consciousness by well-developed people at times even though they are still attached to the mind. Such gold right thoughts are called intuition.
Serendipity
However, intuition is not always available at the push of a button. To achieve her, it should be possible to completely switch off thinking, feeling and wanting at any time. She comes unexpectedly...
How is intuition recognized? She cannot be striven for, expected. She brings unusual, surprising insights, which cannot be achieved by conventional means, which conflict with the usualand whose implementation proves to be spot-on.
No debate
When a person hears the voice of intuition and implements it, then he has a source for optimal action. For him there is no more discussion. He appears at times as arrogant or selfish.
Overconfidence
People use their minds for external comprehension: understanding, feeling, acting, mostly filled with fear, i.e. man uses his foreign-determined (conditioned) ego. Many people get lost in labyrinths that they cannot understand in their current state.
Unhappy
The knowledge acquired in each case is fragmented, incomplete and mostly unsystematic. It rather distracts, obscures and arrests the human being, who loses himself in the world of matter. His greed pushes him deeper and deeper into the labyrinth, he becomes the victim of his thinking, never satisfied, never coming to an end, lost, unhappy.
Prison
He can design his respective labyrinth as refined and beautiful as he likes, but it will always remain a prison. However, the labyrinth does not need to be fully understood - what a relief this insight brings!
Arrest
Of course it is very difficult at times to leave the current labyrinth and move on if the labyrinth is an area in which the person concerned earns a living or which represents his most urgent concern or in the partnership.
What is inner grasping?
Here the mind is silent, it is the state of no-mind. Here man is pure consciousness. Here the bliss of the void prevails, Devanand.
This is reality
What a joke! What a liberating laugh. The inner grasping understands that there is nothing to perceive...
When the mind is silent
...even for a split second, bliss laughs... This is what man experiences in mystical moments. For everyday life, man uses the scientific knowledge and the wealth of experience of the elderly when intuition is lacking
"Esotericism"
Esotericism is also an endless labyrinth: impenetrable, unsystematic, filled with false, half-true, inaccurate, incomprehensible information
Beatitude 1
Blessed are those who do not know what emptiness brings, and yet trust. However, this sentence puts us to a hard test of patience. The current leap in humanity's consciousness will take us forward more quickly than before
Beatitude 2
"Blessed are the poor in spirit" - these are the ones whose minds are silent - "for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" - this is the pure consciousness. This is the deeper meaning
Beatitude 3
"Blessed are those who drink water and perceive it as being wine" - i.e. blessed are those who do not constantly doubt and analyse everything and lose themselves in the respective labyrinth; so Jesus said to Mary Magdalene at the wedding in Canaan.
Happiness/Bliss is the meaning of life?
"Never stop doubting" Osho "Why believe" (in borrowed knowledge) "when you can know" that you don't need to know anything to be happy? But maybe happiness is not everything, or at least not the goal. Is it rather about expansion of consciousness? Both go hand in hand.
Problems
"Problems" are the job-creation measure of the mind. He always needs something to keep him occupied. Problems do not really exist, there are only challenges. No use brooding. Change the point of view, be creative. The human being grows beyond that. This puts the "problem" in the background.
Worries
"Worries" are also part of the job-creation program of the mind. People "worry" and then complain about it. Concerns are like problems - challenges that require action to be taken. Instead of constantly performing brain acrobatics, a person should rather create something creative physically, e.g. by working with his hands
Happiness and Bliss
Every man is the architect of his own fortune. Everyone is responsible for his own life. In the end, you can say that you have lived a well-felt life.
Do not ask why
